ABOUT ME
What’s my vision?
To see beyond what’s obvious.
Through my lens, I try to capture not just what people look like, but what they feel.
I believe photography is about curiosity — stepping out of your comfort zone, exploring new perspectives, and translating emotion into images.
But my vision doesn’t stop at photography. I also create unique visual artworks — pieces that combine intuition, color, and emotion, designed to be experienced beyond the screen.
At David Vision Studio, I offer personalized photography services and also sell original artworks created by me — two ways to connect with people visually, emotionally, and artistically.
Where did it all begin?
I grew up in Florence, Italy, where I studied at the Liceo Artistico di Porta Romana and later graduated in Photography at LABA (Libera Accademia di Belle Arti).
My artistic journey started there — combining traditional training with experimentation and visual exploration.
During my studies, I developed two personal photography projects that were selected and exhibited at the Italian Young Photographers Biennale 2023. That experience helped me grow as an artist and taught me how to present a concept, curate a space, and connect with viewers.
What kind of photography do I do?
I enjoy working across different styles and subjects:
- Portraits
- Fashion
- Still life
- Architecture
- Creative projects
I’m also passionate about photo editing and restoration — not just for the technical precision it requires, but for its ability to breathe new life into images.
Where have I worked?
From 2023 to 2025, I worked in a photo studio and print lab in Florence, Italy.
There I handled a wide range of tasks: event photography, scanning film, photo editing, image restoration, and preparing handmade prints and canvas artwork.
That experience taught me how to combine creativity with craftsmanship, and how to keep attention to detail at the core of everything I do.
What tools do I use?
I work with studio lighting and the Adobe Suite:
Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere
I also explore the creative potential of AI tools for editing, enhancement, and workflow optimization. Technology is not a replacement — it’s a way to expand the creative process when used with intention.
What inspires me now?
Curiosity. People. Painting. Working with my hands.
I believe an artist should never stop experimenting or seeing things from new angles.
Moving to the Netherlands is part of that journey — to meet new influences, collaborate, and evolve my vision one project at a time.
